Tint Selection
We show you actual shade samples on glass — not a chart — and explain what California allows: 70% light transmission minimum on front side windows, any darkness behind the driver. We'll also talk heat rejection separately from darkness, because with ceramic film even a lighter, legal shade blocks a remarkable amount of heat.
Window Prep
Every window is cleaned inside and out, edges are scrubbed, and door panels and seals are protected as needed. Old tint, if present, is stripped and the adhesive fully removed first — installing over residue is how you get bubbles, and we don't do bubbles.
Custom Cutting
Your film is plotted and cut by computer from patterns matched to your exact vehicle, then fine-trimmed for a factory-edge fit. No blades ever touch your glass or seals, and the cut edges sit clean and straight along every window line.
Application
We shrink the film to the compound curve of each window, then install it on the inside surface with meticulous attention to dust control. Rear windows with steep curves and defroster lines get one-piece installations — no seams splitting the glass.
Final Inspection
Every window is checked for contamination, edge lift, and clarity before the car leaves. We'll walk you through the curing process — the light haze you may see for the first few days is normal moisture working its way out — and we stand behind the film for life.

What's the legal tint limit in California?
California requires front side windows to allow at least 70% of light through; windows behind the driver can be as dark as you like, and the windshield allows only a top strip. We install to the law, full stop — a citation and a forced strip-and-redo costs more than doing it right the first time, and we'll help you pick a combination that looks great and passes inspection.
Why choose ceramic over regular tint?
Dyed film just darkens the glass; it fades, turns purple, and does little about heat. Metallic film rejects heat but interferes with electronics. Ceramic film rejects the most heat, blocks UV completely, contains no signal-blocking layer, and holds its color for the life of the vehicle — which is why it's all we recommend, and why it carries a lifetime warranty.
How long before I can roll down windows?
Give it 3-5 days. The film is fully positioned when you pick the car up, but the adhesive continues curing against the glass, and rolling a window down early can peel an edge. In summer heat it cures faster; in a cool marine-layer week, wait the full five days. We'll tell you at pickup based on conditions.
What does window tinting cost?
Most vehicles fall between $200 and $800 installed, depending on the number of windows, the film series, and how difficult the glass is — steep-raked rear windows and panoramic glass take more time and film. That price includes computer-cut installation and the lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship.
Can you remove my old, bubbled tint?
Yes — bubbled, purple, or peeling tint comes off before new film goes on, and we do it without damaging your defroster lines. Removal is priced separately depending on how baked-on the old adhesive is, and we'll quote it up front when you bring the car in.
