Paint Protection Film
Paint protection film is a thick, optically clear urethane layer that takes the hit so your paint doesn't. Rock chips, freeway sandblasting, parking-lot scuffs, bug acid — the film absorbs it, and its self-healing top coat lets minor swirls and scratches disappear with a little heat from the sun or warm water. We've been protecting exotic and luxury vehicles in Los Angeles since 1998, and PPF has become the first thing our exotic clients ask for, often before the car has a hundred miles on it. Our installers are 3M and Avery Dennison certified, every kit is computer-cut to your exact vehicle before it ever touches the car, and installation happens in a climate-controlled bay where dust — the enemy of an invisible install — is kept out of the equation.
Our Process
Assessment
We inspect your paint under proper lighting and talk through coverage: partial front, full front, or full body. On a brand-new car this is quick; on a car with existing chips or swirls, we'll be straight with you about what should be corrected first, because film locks in whatever is underneath it.
Surface Prep
The vehicle gets a thorough decontamination wash and clay bar, followed by paint correction where needed. PPF is optically clear, so any defect left under the film stays visible for the life of the film — which is why we treat prep as seriously as the installation itself.
Template Creation
We plot each panel from a software library of patterns matched to your exact year, make, and model, then fine-tune coverage — wrapped edges where the panel allows, extended coverage where the standard pattern falls short. Computer cutting means no blades near your paint, ever.
Application
Working panel by panel with slip solution, our installers position, squeegee, and tack each piece so edges sit tight and seams all but disappear. Complex areas like bumpers and mirrors are hand-stretched into place — this is where certification and repetition genuinely show in the finished result.
Curing
The film needs time for its adhesive to fully bond, so we keep the car in our facility until it's ready rather than sending it out the door damp. Before pickup we re-inspect every edge and give you simple guidelines for the first week of ownership.

Is PPF really invisible?
Yes — and modern film is a world away from the yellowing "clear bra" material of fifteen years ago. Professionally installed, it's virtually undetectable; most owners forget which panels are covered. We also install matte-finish PPF, which turns glossy paint into a satin "stealth" look while protecting it — a popular choice on exotics.
What areas should I protect?
The front bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors take the vast majority of road damage, so that's our baseline recommendation. Full-front coverage adds the A-pillars, headlights, and rocker panels. For exotics and cars that see canyon or track miles, full-body coverage is worth the conversation — low front ends and wide rear arches collect damage in places you wouldn't expect.
What does PPF cost?
Coverage drives price. Partial-front kits start around $500, a proper full-front package lands in the middle of the range, and full-body coverage on an exotic can run up to $7,000. Price scales with the size and complexity of the vehicle — a wide-body exotic has compound curves that take real time to do right. We'll quote precisely once we see the car or photos of it.
Can PPF be removed?
Yes. PPF is designed to come off cleanly without harming factory paint, and we handle removals in-house. If the film has spent a decade in the sun, removal takes more patience, but done professionally the paint underneath comes out looking the way it did the day the film went on — which is exactly the point.
Should I get PPF or a wrap?
They do different jobs. A wrap changes how the car looks; PPF protects the finish underneath, whichever finish that is. Plenty of our clients combine them — PPF over a fresh color change wrap protects the vinyl the same way it protects paint.
