We specialize in exotic and luxury vehicles, meaning your Porsche, Ferrari, or Tesla gets the expert attention it deserves.
We offer what no other LA shop can: the team that wrapped the Hollywood Sign. That same precision and expertise goes into every vehicle we touch. Look for five things: (1) Certifications from 3M or Avery Dennison, (2) A strong portfolio with vehicles similar to yours, (3) Positive reviews on Google and Yelp, (4) A clean, climate-controlled facility, and (5) A written warranty on their work. At Exotic Car Wraps, we check all five boxes and invite you to tour our facility before committing.
Ask: What vinyl brands do you use? Are your installers certified? Can I see your portfolio? Do you offer a warranty? Do you wrap door jambs and hidden panels? How do you protect my vehicle during installation? A reputable shop will answer confidently. We encourage you to ask us anything—transparency builds trust.
Our Credentials & Experience
Our master installers are certified by both 3M and Avery Dennison, the two leading vinyl manufacturers in the world. This means they've completed rigorous training programs and demonstrated expert-level skill in wrap application. We also attend SEMA annually to stay current with the latest techniques and materials.
Ramy Baramily founded Exotic Car Wraps in Los Angeles in 1998—that's over 28 years of experience. Starting as a one-man garage operation, we've grown into one of the largest wrap companies in Southern California. We've completed more than 8,500 vehicle wraps, partnered with Fortune 500 companies, and made history by wrapping the Hollywood Sign in 2010.
Yes! Our most famous project was wrapping the Hollywood Sign in 2010, which the LA Times called "The Largest Cover Up in Hollywood History." We've also wrapped vehicles for celebrities, professional athletes, and major corporations.
We exclusively use premium vinyl from 3M and Avery Dennison—the industry's gold standard. These materials offer superior conformability, durability, and removability compared to cheaper alternatives. We never cut corners on materials because your vehicle deserves the best.
Yes. Every wrap we install comes with our workmanship warranty, plus the manufacturer warranty from 3M or Avery Dennison (typically 5-7 years). If any issues arise from installation, we'll fix them at no cost. We stand behind every project we complete.

Cost & Pricing
Car wrap pricing varies by vehicle size and complexity. For a standard sedan, expect $2,500-$4,000. SUVs and trucks run $3,500-$5,500. Exotic and luxury vehicles like Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and high-end Porsches range from $5,000-$10,000+ due to their complex body lines and the precision required. Contact us with your vehicle details for a free quote.
Yes, significantly. A quality paint job on a luxury vehicle costs $5,000-$15,000+ and is permanent. A professional wrap costs $2,500-$7,000, protects your original paint, and can be removed or changed. Wraps also take 2-3 days versus weeks for paint, minimizing your downtime.
Exotic vehicles like Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and McLarens have complex body panels, aggressive curves, and intricate details that require significantly more time and skill to wrap properly. We often need to remove more parts (mirrors, badges, trim) and use specialized techniques. The result is worth it—a flawless finish that protects a high-value asset.
Four main factors: (1) Vehicle size and complexity—a Ferrari has more curves than a Honda Civic, (2) Material choice—chrome and specialty finishes cost more than standard colors, (3) Coverage—full wrap vs. partial wrap or accent work, (4) Current condition—heavily damaged paint may need prep work. We provide transparent quotes with no hidden fees.

Wrap Durability & Lifespan
With proper care, a high-quality car wrap lasts 5-7 years. Vehicles kept in garages or covered parking often see wraps lasting even longer. Factors that affect lifespan include sun exposure, washing habits, and storage conditions. We use premium 3M and Avery Dennison vinyl, which offers the longest durability in the industry.
Premium vinyl from 3M and Avery Dennison is engineered with UV inhibitors to resist fading. While all materials will eventually show wear from intense sun exposure, our wraps maintain their color and finish for years. Garage parking and regular maintenance extend the life significantly.
Yes. Quality vinyl wraps handle heat, cold, rain, and snow without issue. The adhesive is designed to maintain bond across temperature extremes. However, harsh conditions (extreme desert sun, salt roads) can shorten lifespan, so we recommend more frequent inspections in those environments.
Three keys to wrap longevity: (1) Park in shade or garage when possible, (2) Hand wash regularly with wrap-safe soap—avoid automatic car washes with brushes, (3) Apply a ceramic coating for extra UV protection. We provide detailed aftercare instructions with every install.
Paint Protection & Safety
No—when installed and removed by professionals, a wrap will not damage your factory paint. In fact, wraps protect your paint from UV rays, minor scratches, and rock chips. We only wrap vehicles with paint in good condition and use proper removal techniques that leave your original finish intact.
Yes! Think of a wrap as a protective layer over your paint. It shields against UV fading, light scratches, bird droppings, tree sap, and road debris. When removed after 5+ years, owners often find their paint looks brand new underneath. For maximum protection, consider our Paint Protection Film (PPF).
Vinyl wraps change your car's color and appearance while providing moderate protection. PPF (Paint Protection Film) is a thicker, clear film designed specifically for protection against rock chips, scratches, and staining—it's nearly invisible. Many customers combine both: PPF on high-impact areas (front bumper, hood) and a color wrap on the rest.
It depends on the severity. Minor imperfections may be hidden by the wrap, but significant damage (rust, deep scratches, peeling clear coat) should be repaired first. Vinyl conforms to the surface underneath, so major flaws will show through. We assess every vehicle and provide honest recommendations during your consultation.
Installation Process
Most full wraps take 2-3 business days. Complex vehicles (Lamborghini, Ferrari, heavily contoured designs) may take 4-5 days. Partial wraps and accent work typically complete in 1 day. We provide exact timelines during your consultation and keep you updated throughout the process.
Just bring it clean. We perform a thorough prep including a final wash, clay bar treatment, and isopropyl alcohol wipe to ensure perfect adhesion. Remove any personal items from the vehicle. We handle everything else—no special preparation needed on your end.
Almost any vehicle can be wrapped—cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, and even aircraft. The main requirements are: paint must be in reasonable condition (no severe peeling or rust), and the surface must be smooth enough for vinyl adhesion. We wrap everything from daily drivers to million-dollar hypercars.
We offer every finish imaginable: Gloss (showroom shine), Matte (flat, modern look), Satin (soft sheen between gloss and matte), Metallic (color-shifting sparkle), Chrome (mirror finish), Carbon Fiber texture, Brushed Metal, and more. We also do custom prints and designs. Try our Virtual Wrap Studio to preview colors on your car.
Yes—door jambs, fuel door, trunk jambs, and all visible areas are wrapped for a seamless, factory look. Many shops skip these areas to save time, but we believe in complete, professional results. When you open your door, you should see your new color, not the old paint.
Maintenance & Care
Hand washing is best. Use a gentle automotive soap (pH neutral), soft microfiber mitt, and rinse thoroughly. Avoid abrasive brushes or harsh chemicals. Wash in the shade and dry with a clean microfiber towel. We provide a complete care guide with every installation.
We recommend avoiding automatic car washes with spinning brushes—they can lift edges and scratch the vinyl. Touchless (brushless) car washes are generally safe but not ideal. Hand washing gives the best results and extends wrap life. Pressure washers are okay if kept at safe distance and low pressure.
Yes, in most cases. Small damage (scratches, scuffs, punctures) can often be repaired by replacing just the affected panel rather than the entire wrap. This is a major advantage over paint—you don't need to respray the whole car. We stock common colors and can often match your existing wrap.
Absolutely. Professional wrap removal is straightforward and leaves no damage to factory paint when done correctly. We use heat and proper technique to release the adhesive cleanly. Removal takes a few hours to a full day depending on wrap age and condition. We offer removal services for wraps installed elsewhere too.
Leased & Special Vehicles
Yes! This is one of the best uses for a wrap. Unlike paint, wraps are fully removable without damaging the original finish. When your lease ends, we remove the wrap and your car returns to stock condition. Many leasing companies actually prefer wraps over modifications that could void agreements.
No. A professionally installed vinyl wrap does not affect your vehicle's factory warranty. Wrapping is non-invasive—we don't modify any mechanical or structural components. Your manufacturer warranty remains fully intact.
Yes, we recommend informing your insurance company about any modifications including wraps. Most insurers don't charge extra, but they need to know for accurate coverage valuation. Some policies may cover wrap damage; others may require additional coverage. A quick call to your agent is worthwhile.
Exotic & Luxury Vehicles
Absolutely. We specialize in exotic vehicles and understand the unique requirements of Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Porsche, and other high-end marques. Our certified installers have extensive experience with complex body lines and specialty paints. A wrap actually protects your exotic's valuable factory finish while allowing personalization.
Tesla is one of our most frequently wrapped brands. We've completed hundreds of Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, and Cybertruck wraps. We understand Tesla's unique paint (which can be thinner than traditional automotive paint) and take extra care during installation and removal. See our Tesla gallery in the portfolio.
Yes—exotic vehicles are our specialty. We've wrapped countless Lamborghinis, Ferraris, McLarens, Aston Martins, Bentleys, and Rolls-Royces. Our installers are trained specifically for the complex curves and panel gaps on supercars. We treat every exotic like the work of art it is.
For supercars, we recommend premium cast vinyl from 3M or Avery Dennison in your preferred finish. Satin and matte finishes are extremely popular on exotics—they reduce glare and give a stealth, aggressive look that complements aggressive styling. We'll help you choose the perfect color and finish during your consultation.
